One-Off Words ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

• Account/Game Profile Data: display name or identifier used for leaderboards.
• Gameplay Data: scores, puzzle completion, streaks, and related stats.
• Purchase Data: in-app purchase transaction metadata (for example, product purchased, purchase status, receipt validation data). We do not receive your full payment card details.
• Device and Technical Data: device type, OS version, app version, language, and similar diagnostics.
• Crash/Performance Data: crash logs and diagnostic events (for example, via Firebase Crashlytics).
• Notification Data: push token and notification interaction data (opened/dismissed).
• Shared Link Data: if you use share features, we generate/share content or links you choose to send.

2. How We Use Information

We use data to:

• Operate core gameplay features.
• Provide leaderboards and ranking features.
• Process and restore in-app purchases.
• Send push notifications (if enabled), including reminders and updates.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and fix crashes and performance issues.
• Improve app quality and user experience.
• Prevent abuse, fraud, or misuse.

3. In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by platform providers (such as Apple App Store or Google Play). Their privacy policies and terms govern billing and payment processing. We may process purchase-related metadata for entitlement, fraud prevention, and support.

4. Leaderboards

If you use leaderboards, your display name/identifier and scores may be visible to other users.

5. Sharing Features

When you choose to share, the App may generate a share message or link. Sharing is user-initiated. Information you share is controlled by the destination platform/app you select.

6. Push Notifications

We use push notification services to deliver notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

7. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party providers (for example, crash reporting, analytics, notification delivery, platform leaderboard/purchase services) that process data on our behalf. Their handling of data is subject to their own privacy terms.

8. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and operational needs.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain data. You may also:

• Disable push notifications in device settings.
• Stop using leaderboard features.
• Request support regarding stored data.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date when changes are made.
